Cars are getting more technologically advanced. In some cases it is necessary to use computer software to scan the vehicles electronic control unit for such functions as brake fluid changes and in some cases to perform a simple brake pad replacement.

Identifying a fault incorrectly can lead to unnecessary costs. At RVS we use up to date diagnostics software to assist in the process of fault finding. Combined with our extensive experience and knowledge we can maximise first time diagnosis.

We use the latest diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults.

• Service light re-set
• Anti lock braking systems (ABS)
• Traction control
• Engine management and warning lights for petrol and diesel vehicles
• Airbag warning lights

Once the electronic control unit has been scanned a report will be produced detailing the trouble codes that were present and showing that the codes have been cleared and the electronic control unit re-set.
